Hi CYF-ers!!! (and parents!!!)

Hope you all had fun at the Halloween Party. You guys looked great and did a wonderful job for the little ones! Thanks for helping out and making it a fun time for them! YALL ARE AMAZING!!!

Here are somethings going on this week:

First off, VERY IMPORTANT STUFF: If you are going to SERIVE RALLY (November 17-19) your forms are due NOVEMBER 1ST. They must be notarized!!!!!!!!! Service Rally is a fun event and a great way to earn disciple points. Don't forget that Nov. 1st is this Wednesday.

Wednesday night we are having Bible study at 6:30 in the CYF room. Just like normal.

Sunday evening, November 5th, we will be having Fellowship at 5:30. The following week, we will be going to Champions Roller Worlds from 4-6 for some good old fashion 80's skating. Now, I know some of you weren't around in the 80's, but come on....you've gotta love the skating rink. And I will give a great prize to the person who comes dressed in their BEST 80's garb. So start thinking 80's!!!

Altered, I believe there is a vocalist practice on November 5th. If you can not attend, you MUST let Pappa Frey know. Email him @ jfrey@cypresscreekdoc.org.

And now, a message from your local minister of hockey...

Sunday November 19th the Houston Aeros go up against the Hartford Wolf Pack. Game time is 5:05pm, departing from the church at 3:30, returning by 9pm.

The Aeros have blocked off a section for us and the tickets are $10 each. I will make final purchase of these tickets on Monday November 13th. Anybody who would like to go needs to have paid for their ticket by Sunday November 12th.

I will be taking cash or check on Sundays at church and Youth night, or a check can be mailed to my home at 26 Meadowfair Court, The Woodlands, TX 77381. If you decide to mail, please let me know by calling me at 281-380-1764 or email me at
thewild@houston.rr.com. As always, feel free to contact me with questions or clarifications. Adults who can drive, please let me know.

Rev. Jonathan L Dziuk
Minister of Hockey

Hope you guys have a great week. If you have any left over Halloween candy, I will be happy to take care of it for you...

Hey guy!

Just wanted to give you a quick update about the week and a few reminders about Sunday.

Our Wednesday night bible study is at 6:30 in the CYF room.

Saturday we will be going to see Third Day and DAVID CROWDER BAND. Details soon.

Sunday!!!!

We are presenting our slide shows on all the amazing work you guys did as servants this summer in New Orleans. Please be in attendance at ALL 3 services sunday morning. Wear your Got Soul shirts and smiling faces!! Remember that the first service starts at 8:30.

Altered, please be at the church no later than 8am for a quick sound check and run through. Please do not make us have to call you to remind you. We are a team and need all our team mates there. (remember what you signed in your covenant). I believe if I remember right there will not be an Altered rehearsal that evening since we are singing all the services that morning.

Alright! More later!

Well...that was nice of me to COMPLETELY forget a week of updating wasn't it???

So here we go. I'll update a day early.

THIS WEEK IN A GLANCE!

Wednesday night Bible study will be...you guessed it!!! 6:30 upstairs in the CYF room!!

Now, this upcoming weekend will be a little different. Since your lovely youth workers will be out of town at a convention, there will not be a Sunday evening fellowship. Instead, you guys will be going to a HOCKEY GAME!! (Just in CASE Jonathan hasn't come running by you with his cow bell! teehee) The deadline for tickets was Oct. 1st (hey..that's today!) so if you didn't get your money in, we probably can't get a ticket for you. I believe Jonathan sent out an email to all of you who are attending with details as to when/where/how/and what. But just in case you are a little out of the loop, please feel free to email him at thewild@houston.rr.com.

Altered will NOT BE REHEARSING THIS SUNDAY as a good portion of them will be out of town. We will resume with an instrumental practice on the 15th then all Altered on the 22nd and you will be off on the 29th.

Looking ahead...

October 14th is a BABY SITTING opprotunity. We need ONLY 3 people and you can earn money for mission trip. The hours are 6:30-9:30 and it might even be a little earlier than that. You will be sitting for the ARK program. Please let me know if you are interested!

Also, the 14th, we will be doing Meals on Wheels in the morning. Details to follow. Once again, please let me know if you are interested.

Also, if you would like to go see Third Day and DAVID CROWDER!!! on October 21st, please let us know. We will be buying tickets soon.

That's all for now kids and 'rents! I love you guys!!!!!
